The exhibition consists of three artistic perspectives, whose main medium is painting.

In the modern imaginarium, lost tomorrow and the past, which have never occurred, pile up. They weigh equally with their cold emptiness and overwhelming fullness. They paralyze in a state of sleepy numbness, which could only be ended by a flash of lumen, the shape of the New Earth. In a search of this New Earth one can only resort to reading maps upside down and sketching shapes on an empty isthmus between disaster and utopia.
Constructing constellations from the ruins of the future which cover it and recalling the topography of non-existent places, recalling past and extraordinary people, possible and impossible stories, discovering fragments of recovered messages.

Edna Baud – (born 1991) deals with painting and sound. She uses motifs present in the avant-garde tradition – a snapshot of prosaic events or a “portrait” approach to everyday objects. She interweaves quotes from pop culture with fragments of symbolism, referring to 20th-century philosophy and cultural history. As a result, she creates semiotically “dense” images, full of multi-threaded allegories on the canvas of connections of forgotten meanings. She lives in Lublin.

Michał Chudzicki – (born in 1983), painter and collage artist. He created the figure of the imaginary artist Bruno Lark. He draws inspiration from the avant-garde of the 20th century, as well as threads from the history of art, from the Middle Ages to the present day and pop culture. He is fascinated by the interior, frame and fragment, which are the building blocks of new, own, individually imagined compositions, full of precise realism. He lives in Lublin.

Marta Szulc – (born in 1980), painter, copperplate artist. Her work is characterized by an attempt to exceed the conventions of contemporary art and the tradition of academic painting. In her paintings, she touches on current issues and problems – these are discourses about the consequences of the expansion of new technologies, the illusion of civilization or the inevitability of an ecological catastrophe. She lives in Milanówek.
