Move on Together Israeli Way – movement and dance workshops, inspired by Israeli movement techniques
The idea behind the “Move on Together” project is to share and pass on the inspiration that its creators draw from the Israeli and Jewish culture.
In their own words: We want to bring Israel’s unique spirit, way of thinking and energy. Dance and movement are the best, most universal tools for us to connect people and fight prejudices. We believe that our project will bring cultural and educational values to society.
The methods that inspired the creators of “Move on Together Israeli Way” include the Feldenkrais method, the Ilan Lion Method, Gaga and Israeli folklore. All these techniques are popular all over the world, but so far they have never been presented together in one
place and time, which makes the project unique. The programme of the workshop is created by certified teachers from Israel and around the world who are qualified in the presented methods.
Movement and dance workshops will be conducted by Israeli dancer, choreographer and trainer in one person – Ada Elzam, as well as Patrycja Zasławska and Eryk Pacek.
Patrycja Zasławska – the person behind the whole idea of the Move On Together project! She has always been passionate about movement, medicine and people. After her first visit to Israel, she also fell in love with its culture. The combination of Ashtanga yoga teacher training and studies at the Medical University made her move and dance. In 2021, she completed the Dance Journey Program at the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company.
Eryk Pacek – graduated from the ballet school in Poznań, participated in 2 dance programs in Israel and worked for 4 seasons in the “Śląsk” Song and Dance Ensemble. Together with Patrycja, he completed the Dance Journey program at the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, where he learned more about contemporary dance, the Feldenkrais method and improvisation. The event is organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Israel in Poland.
