The Lublin Social Committee to Aid Ukraine operates in the building of the Cultre for Culture in Lublin. Employees of Lublin NGOs, the City of Lublin and many non-members who want to help in every possible way offered their knowledge and support to provide help in various tasks, incl. in collecting and providing up-to-date and verified information.

Please read this short guide before you take a step towards helping people coming to Lublin from Ukraine. Your help is necessary, and thoughtful help means less stress, chaos and confusion.
Remember that the people you help have had difficult experiences. Coordinated, thoughtful and logical help is important, because it gives a sense of security. On both sides.

1. I WANT TO SHARE FOOD / HYGIENE AND MEDICAL PRODUCTS
🔍Before you do shopping – check where and what is needed!
Not all foods can be stored, so you don’t waste food – be prepared. Not all clothing is needed – collection is not an opportunity to get rid of things from the wardrobe.
🔍 Check the material collection points in Lublin: https: //tiny.pl/9lzdt Ask what else is needed – the state of demand changes from hour to hour. It is worth bringing what is currently missing.
🔍 Sign the packages! Write what is packed and how much. This will greatly facilitate the work of people who sort things in points.
🔍 Do not make collections yourself and do not take items to the border.‼ ️ Bring items to the collection points. People’s staffs are working to get them to the people who need them. They know where, what and for whom.

Remember that people coming to Lublin need peace, but also a little care. If you have the opportunity to spend a moment talking, showing you around the city / neighbourhood, help with shopping and dealing with urgent needs – contact us. It is your responsibility to accept people fleeing the war.
3. I WANT SOMEONE / SOMETHING TO TRANSPORT SOMETHING
🔴Very important! Don’t take anyone with you without registering. Every person entering Poland should go through the reception point. It may happen that family members are looking for each other, it is important that they register.
🔍 Don’t go aimlessly! Check where there is a need for transport support or report and wait to be assigned to departure.

If you do not know where to donate money for urgent help for Ukrainians and Ukrainians in Lublin, we encourage you to donate to organizations that have been dealing with humanitarian aid, work with refugees and migrants in Poland for many years.
