It was created in 1991 at the same time as the establishment of the Culture for Culture in Lublin. Its task was to organize professional artistic events such as concerts, theatre performances, recitals, cabarets presented in auditoriums and outdoor events. To this day, it is responsible for presenting the most interesting musical phenomena.
Since 2008 the Artistic Management organizes the Lublin Jazz Festival – the largest international event in the region promoting widely understood jazz music. Since 2013 it coordinates the Central Playground, an interdisciplinary project from the border of socio-cultural animation and education, in which an attractive space for a variety of artistic, animation, educational and sports activities is created with the involvement of various urban communities.
The Artistic Management is also the co-organizer of the Land Art Festival, which aims to present contemporary art engaged in spreading of ecological, social and spiritual values. Since 2010 The Festival presents the local dimension of building the ecopolis’ idea with the use of the natural landscapes of the Lublin region – its unique land form and geopolitical location.
