For fans, he is the Polish Tom Waits. “The most true voice on the Polish music market” – this is how the music critic, singing teacher Elżbieta Zapendowska describes him. Dyjak is Dyjak – friends say; the man who lived on the edge, drank away until he reached the end of the road.
Marek Dyjak – born on April 18, 1975. He finished a vocational school as a plumber. It took just a few things to make life full and happy – the workers’ life, the working-class wife, the working-class cubicle in the block. An ordinary, simple life, without tinkering in the nuances of the soul and heart. He wanted more.
