And if they appear on stage, it is the presence of a person absorbed in the moment, a fleeting moment of concentration while working on a role or talking with a partner. No exaggerated expression, no embellishments, no glamorous gestures. The dancers do not hide their profession, they do not avoid exposing the beauty of movement and dance energy filling their bodies, but “The whole world is our stage” is primarily a collection of unusual portraits of people similar to us, maybe only slightly more agile and … just in love with dance.
