CALYCES (Athens, Greece – progressive post-metal)
The music of the Athenians is like a stroll through a mysterious, lush garden full of strange, dangerous plants. Their riffs entwine the listener, their broken rhythms create palpable discomfort, and their unconventional vocal harmonies draw you deeper and deeper. The Greeks are consistently cementing their strong position in the world of Hellenic metal, and thanks to their 2025 release, “Fleshy Waves of Probability,” they are currently one of the hottest names in their country. The Lublin concert is part of their European tour.

Riffs you love, rhythms you’ll always be rocking, and songs you’ll soon be humming along to with your friends. If the Polish metal scene is a force, then this band is one of its driving forces. Their second album, “Through The Night Again,” is released on April 17th, so you can expect the guys to play some pre-premiere material.

The Lublin-based band set themselves the ambitious goal of combining melodic progression with the best of Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. The result is, to say the least, interesting, as evidenced by their poignant debut album, “The Plight Goes On,” whose most significant characteristic is that it never leaves the player.
