People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; and above all, of their own feelings. People talk about how great love is, but it’s nonsense. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is bad and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they are afraid to feel? The pain is to wake us up. People are trying to hide their pain. But they are wrong. Pain is something that is carried with you, like a radio. You feel your strength in experiencing pain. It all depends on how you wear it. It counts. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are part of you. Your own reality. If you are ashamed of them and hide them, you will let society destroy your reality. You should defend your right to feel pain. The most important type of freedom is to be who you repair. A true friend is someone who allows you to have complete freedom to be yourself – especially freedom of feeling. Or not feeling. Whatever you feel right now is fine for them.
