“The Adventures of Prince Achmed” rected by the German director Lotte Reiniger and uncredited Carl Koche, is the only surviving animated feature films. It had been created for 3 years using the cut-out method. The plot is based on the themes of “Fairy Tales from One Thousand and One Nights”.

The African sorcerer boasts to the caliph about his flying horse. The rulers likes the animal so much that he decides to buy it. Since the sorcerer is not interested in gold, he is offered whatever treasure he chooses. Much to the despair of Dinarsade, the caliph’s daughter, he decides to get her as his reward. The woman’s brother, Prince Achmed, opposes to the choice, so the sorcerer persuades him to test how wonderful the horse is. The animal, however, lifts him up and takes him away from the kingdom.

Performing together with Łukasz and Aga are Tomasz Piątek and Krzysztof Redas, musicians known from the bands Tatvamasi and Lublin Street Band. The concert will be a combination of electronics and experiments with acoustic pulsation, with many layers intertwining in a very plastic way. The animated nature of the film allows musicians greater freedom in creating sonic adventures.
