Ecstasy (Greek: being outside of oneself) is treated as a state different from everyday life while maintaining awareness. This is us, highly sensitive people, with a baggage of creative possibilities. By drowning in expectations and pretending to be hyper-stressed, we extinguish the outside world. We build tunnels between consciousness and unconsciousness. We visit extraordinary mental spaces and consciously lose ourselves in the ecstatic way to imagined horizons. We study the question asked by the psychotherapist J. Decmann: How to fall asleep and meet new people at events of the unconscious? So what do we dream about when we are awake? What does it give us, where does it lead and by what paths? After all, is it possible to drown in imaginary water?
