Hip Hop Festival in the Theatre is a unique artistic project where street dance and dance theatre meet. On stage we will see street dancers who present an etude or a dance performance.
The event is an artistic confrontation sharing knowledge and experience. The project aims to ensure that the street dance scene develops dynamically and enters previously unexplored areas. Through the activities we hope that the world of dance theatre learns new techniques and opens itself to new dance environment. The most interesting etudes and performances selected from the September edition of the festival in Łódź will be presented at the Centre for Culture.
The task is financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of the Art Spaces Dance Program, implemented by the National Institute of Music and Dance. The local operator of the program is the Centre for Culture in Lublin.
