Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa – a group is on stage since 1997. It combines traditional music with an avant-garde arrangement.
During their concerts, references to folk singing techniques and instruments are mixed with contemporary sound and modern musical technique. Winners of five Fryderyk awards, numerous awards at Polish and foreign folk festivals, awards from British and German music critics. Grammy nominees.
During the Multicultural Lublin festival, they will present a programme prepared especially for this occasion, with specially invited guests:
Michał Rudas – vocalist;
Piotr Malec – percussion multi-instrumentalist, tabla virtuoso;
Miguel Czachowski – flamenco guitarist.
