The show “Step by step” is an unusual and new proposition in Polish theatre of movement. The artists chose street-dance styles as the main form of their message.
The Wrocław-based group Co Jest Crew invited the Tunisian choreographer Hamdi Dridi to cooperate with him due to his artistic achievements in the field of combining contemporary theatre-dance ideas with techniques such as b-boying, hip-hop, house and popping. Using the language of movement derived from the ubiquitous influences of the Hip-Hop culture today, the team will tell a story about finding a place for yourself in a changing world, facing the first ego-bumps, loneliness and the need to belong to a coherent group.

The performance is co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of the PolandDances / Choreographic residencies project, financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage
