During their vacation, a young couple visits a Swedish village isolated from the world. Soon they learn about eccentric local traditions.
Dani (Florence Pugh) and Christian (Jack Reynor) are young Americans who are not getting on with their relationship and are considering breaking up. However, an unexpected family tragedy brings them closer, and mourning Dani decides to join Christian
and his friends on a summer trip to the north of Scandinavia. There, in a village cut off from the world, an ancient holiday associated with the summer solstice is celebrated every 90 years. However, what at first looks like a carefree excursion into the land of the never-
setting sun takes an unexpected, terrifying turn over time. Local residents invite American visitors to participate in disturbing rituals. In an idyllic setting, a nine-day festival of more and more strange rites begins, the result of which will determine the life and death of those
taking part in them.
