Desmond, a sympathetic slacker, working in the financial department of Ammotech – a leading weapon production company. The only reason why he gets up in the morning to attend his job is the girl of his dreams, Samantha. She works in Human Resources and got him this job.

One day Des slips out of a motivation lecture, wanting to go home earlier, omitting the moment when all the employees receive a free can of Zolta! – new energy drink made to enhance soldiers performance. On the next day at work, he sees his co-workers seemingly the same but with a life-threating defect. The energy drink gave them additional energy kick but also turned them into a kill frenzy psychopaths. Desmond needs to go far and beyond to get the antidote, save the woman he loves and survive.
