P.Unity grew out of the garage projects of Maciej Sondij and Jędrzej Dudek, expanding its numbers and sound capabilities over time. The Warsaw-based group has become a musical exchange point for musicians pursuing their own projects on the alternative scene (e.g. beluga stone, Saturn Jazz Band, Sara – Her Music) and cooperating with the mainstream (e.g. Brodka, Rosalie, WaluśKraksaKryzys, Skalpel, Otsochodzi) Influenced heavily by the achievements of George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic, P.Unity combines inspirations with D'Angelo's neo-soul, new and old rap, soft-psychedelic sound of Connan Mockasin or Nick Hakim, while not shying away from the jazz education of a large part composition. Over several years of its activity, the band collaborated with Michał Urbaniak, Hades and Kuba Knap, playing on the way in clubs and at the largest festivals in the country, from Opener and OFF, to Pol'and' Rock and the Festival of Polish Song in Opole.
