“Verdura”, inspired by the famous painting by Hieronymus Bosch entitled “The Garden of Earthly Delights”, is a meeting of two people intoxicated with destructive passion.
Verdura (English- Vegetables) is a duo dealing with the topic of intimacy in a toxic love relationship. We look at the aggressive love between two beings who, in an emotional crescendo, devour each other over the three parts of the performance. The artists pose the question: what is the extent of consuming of other person which allows to keep up the mutual love of the partners.
