Is one of the most important alternative theatres originating from the student culture movement in Poland, existing since 1972. Theatre’s performances are directed by Janusz Opryński. In its productions Provisorium reaches for the most interesting literary texts. In the recent years these included “The Karamazov Brothers” by Dostoyevsky or “Ice” based on the novel by Jacek Dukaj. For the performance “The Zero Point: The Kindly Ones”, based on a book by Jonathan Littell, Janusz Opryński has received the Konrad Award at the 18th Festival of Directing Art “Interpretations” in Katowice.
