Alona Szostak – actress of the Polish Theater in Poznań, graduate of the Theatre Institute in Moscow. She worked at the Gogol Theatre, later in Vilnius. Known for her beautiful, warm voice, the actress has been associated with the Entertainment Theatre in Chorzów for many years.
Alona Szostak invites to an extraordinary recital. Sung in four languages – Yiddish, Hebrew, Russian and Polish – the songs speak about love and loneliness, fulfilment and longing, hope and despair. In short: about life.
The recital premiered at the Singer’s Warsaw Jewish Culture Festival.
The programme of the recital “With hope through life” consists of carefully selected compositions and interpretations, which, although difficult and longing, carry a true love of life thanks to Alona’s unusual voice.
