State and departmental decorations were awarded to persons distinguished in the service of the state and society, who, with their attitude, create a better present and future of their homeland.
The medals granted by the decisions of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Prime Minister and the Minister of National Defense are a symbolic acknowledgment for activity for social, cultural and local government activities and for exceptional performance of
official tasks and duties. Distinctions were awarded, among others, for merits in social, charitable and local government activities as well as for merits for the independence of the Republic of Poland and Polish culture.Employees of the Centre for Culture in Lublin received Medals for their Long Service.
The Gold Medal was awarded to: Jacek Brzeziński, Jarosław Gradek, Anna Krawczyk, the late Barbara Luszawska, Jerzy Lużyński, Barbara Mazurek, Lesław Skwarski, Halina Stelmasiak, Jarosław Tomica, Anna Trusz-Krok, Celina Wójcik, Dariusz Wróblewski and Stanisława Zan.
The Silver Medal was awarded to: Krzysztof Cybula, Małgorzata Dąbrowska, Ryszard Kalinowski, Jan Szamryk and Anna Żak.
The Bronze Medal was awarded to: Maria Artemiuk-Kozińska, Małgorzata Drozd-Domaciuk, Anna Kalita, Wojciech Kaproń, Joanna Kolstrung, Małgorzata Bartkiewicz, Beata Mysiak, Izabela Raszewska, Barbara Sawicka and Marcin Sudziński.
Andrzej Mathiaszwas awarded with the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta.
