Performance in English prepared by students of the Stanisław Staszic High School in Lublin as part of the European Youth Capital.
Our show is a staging of Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice”, but the screenplay was also based on the 2005 film directed by Joe Wright under the same title. We believe that the best and most natural form of language learning (in this case English) is contact with works of culture, which, if possible, should be learned in the original language. Our project is therefore aimed at promoting learning and improving the English language among young people and creating cultural events available to foreigners who do not know Polish.
