The film is set in an elite boarding school in a small Indian town.
16-year-old Mira, raised by a strict and ambitious mother, begins to discover her sexuality and independence. An affair with a new student at the school triggers an avalanche of complications that will turn both women’s lives upside down. This is a story about growing up, but also about a woman’s need for freedom and crossing the boundaries imposed by a patriarchal society.
