Warsaw-based jazz band formed in early 2023. It specialises in original jazz and improvised music, combining emotional depth with artistic freedom.
The quartet’s leader is vocalist Karolina Błachnia, who is also the author of most of the compositions and lyrics. The band’s emphasis on openness, community and free expression is the foundation of their musical philosophy. The quartet’s debut album, entitled East, was released at the end of 2024. The album was realised thanks to a collaboration with the National Institute of Music and Dance as part of the ‘Jazz phonographic debut’ programme. The band gained recognition on the Polish jazz scene by winning the Grand Prix in the JAZZiNSPIRACJE competition during the 14th Lublin Jazz Festival in 2023.
