The opening will be followed by the performance by Austrian double bassist Helene Güxman.

Jazz is a starting point and impetus for creative exploration. It is the inspiration for watercolour improvisations, in which color and form respond to the rhythm, sound, and mood of the music. Artists from the Lubelska Group and invited guests, both from Poland and abroad, will present works inspired by their experience of jazz. The exhibition will include both portraits of the musicians and compositions that are a visual record of the emotions accompanying concerts and individual interpretations of sound. A key element of the exhibition will be its multi-sensory nature – QR codes placed next to the works will lead viewers to specific works that inspired the watercolourists. This will enable them to experience a dialogue between image, sound, artist, and viewer. Watercolour connects us!
