Eden – Izabela Szafrańska’s Concert

19:00 - 04.08.2026 - free admission / free tickets available online from July 24 and at the festival box office from July 28 - more

Eden – a musical space where Izabela Szafrańska takes the audience on a tale of lost harmony, a longing for the original order of the world, and a search for what is universal and timeless.

“Eden” is an encounter with music that transcends eras, cultures, and languages, creating a space for reflection, focus, and emotional experience. The concert travels through centuries of musical traditions, combining them into a coherent, multi-dimensional narrative. The repertoire includes songs rooted in Jewish and European traditions – from medieval melodies, through Sephardic ballads in Ladino, to works in Hebrew, Yiddish, and Polish, including “Morena me llaman,” “Yerushalaim Shel Zahav,” “Rebecca,” and “Donna Donna.”
The artist, along with her accompanying musicians, will speak of love, faith, hope, and longing for a world that, in various cultures, takes the form of the myth of a lost paradise.

Izabela Szafrańska – a singer with exceptional musical sensitivity and a distinctive, emotional voice. A winner of numerous competitions and festivals, including the Student Song Festival in Krakow and the OFPA National Artistic Song Festival in Rybnik. Known to a wider audience as a finalist of the “Must Be the Music” program and a semi-finalist of “The Voice of Poland,” where she captured the attention of audiences with her mature interpretations and stage charisma.

The artist has consistently forged her own creative path, combining her original music with inspirations from world cultures. Her album “Z amber” (From Amber) contains her own interpretations of poetry, while the album “Żydowska ulica / Jewish Street” (Jewish Street) is a personal tribute to the rich heritage of Jewish culture, which has remained one of her main sources of inspiration for years.

The band:
Izabela Szafrańska – vocals
Bartłomiej Tyburowski – keyboards
Adeb Chamoun – percussion
Przemysław Skałuba – clarinet, duduk, saxophones
