British Army meteorologist James Stagg (Andrew Scott) must make the most important decision of his career – his forecast could determine the success or failure of the largest military operation in history.
Trapped in an atmosphere of distrust and pressure from his highest command, Stagg finds himself in a psychological race against time, supported only by Captain Kay Summersby (Kerry Condon). Overseeing everything is General Dwight D. Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser), who must decide whether to launch the invasion or delay it – risking the Germans discovering the Allied plans.
