“Back to Black” is the long-awaited first feature film about the musical icon, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, an acclaimed visual artist and director (“Fifty Shades of Grey”), produced by STUDIOCANAL and Monumental Pictures, with the full support of Universal Music Group music labels and SONY Music Publishing. It tells the passionate story of an extraordinary artist, charting the years she spent in the vibrant London city of Camden, which she called home, and her rise to global fame. The film will focus on Amy’s extraordinary genius, creativity, sense of humor and honesty that guided her in everything she did, and will also try to understand her demons. The main role in the film was played by rising film star Marisa Abela (“The Industry”).
