Can’t see a thing – Opening of the Group Exhibition
Can’t see a thing – Opening of the Group Exhibition
On World Mental Health Day, we invite you to the opening of an exhibition addressing the significant theme of psychosomatic, psychological, and civilization-related illnesses—conditions that, while invisible to the naked eye, resonate within both the individual and society.
A wide spectrum of works by charismatic artistic figures treats illness not merely as a tangible fact but also as a metaphor for the crisis of contemporary relativism and as a broad cultural phenomenon. Art transposes existential experience into the realm of critical social reflection. The exhibition explores the subversive potential of the visual arts to communicate the unseen. Through the use of diverse techniques—ranging from new media to painting—the visual dimension of the curated works seeks to reveal the issue, giving form and visibility to a hidden phenomenon. The phrase “Can’t see a thing” opens up an opportunity to explore this unusual analogy and its social relevance.
