Dirt or seismic bass hits, unbalanced beats and lyrics straight from the streets.
Mordor Muzik
Although in many circles they are considered the first punch of Polish grime, they aren’t easily pigeonholed. The band uses a wide spectrum of electronic music, combining the influences of grime, juke, bassline, UKG, dubstep, jungle and trap with eclectic rap. It’s hard to find a similar crew on the Polish scene, maybe with the exception of some recordings of Miły ATZ, who, moreover, comes from Mordor, which makes his recordings echo the original line-up.
Fathertz
Jah Bass and fiftififti as FATHERTZ join forces in the back2back convention. They form a fusion of various selections and styles of playing. They find a common language that results in a new quality behind the tunrtables. They both have seen the world, have families, children and made a significant contribution to the Polish dubstep and bass scene. Fifti, together with the Dub Lovin Criminals collective, organized recognizable series of events to which foreign artists were invited, and supported many respected experts from around the world.
Anansi
Anansi often takes the form of a spider, and is considered a god of stories and a trickster. From the beginning of the third millennium, he has been one of the driving forces of the Polish underground dance. He was one of the drivers of the Redekon Konstrukcje (2000-2012) series promoting the most extreme forms of dance electronics (breakcore, IDM, bass, etc.), in 2006 he brought dubstep to Poland, starting a bass revolution. He has published for the Spanish labels Corsario Digital and DubKraft, collaborated with Junior Stress, performed in clubs and festivals in Poland and abroad, in Austria, Lithuania, Latvia, Spain and Ukraine.
