The blues rock Electric Blues Band was founded in 1982. The idea came from the singer, guitar player, author and composer Marek Tymkoff. After a short period of personnel experiments, a permanent line-up was formed, with Jacek Skup on drums and Robert Pływacz on bass.
The band successfully toured the country, participating in all the more important blues events. They visited, among others Przystanek Woodstock in Czymanów, Rawa Blues, Blues Express, Bluesada, Rock Stock etc.

In 1998, the band suspended its concert activity with an excellent performance at Toruń Blues
Meeting ’98. The break lasted for 20 years!expect for literally a few occasional mini-concerts. After 20 years, all three original members of the Electric Blues band decided to revive the brand. They plan to record an album at the end of 2020. Their first concert after the break took place at
Blues Express 2018 in Zakrzewo.
