In front of the Yeshiva building and inside, in the synagogue, the guests will hear traditional songs of Vareka Hasidim, who continue the path of Rabbi the Seer from Lublin. Guests will be met with a glass of wine and traditional refreshments.

After sunset on Saturday, we bid farewell to the Sabbath, recite blessings to wine, aromatic herbs and the candle flame. This is how the Havdala ceremony begins – separating the holy day from the weekday.

Melawe Malka, or farewell, “taking the Queen away”, is a light meal, traditionally eaten after the end of the Sabbath, accompanied by songs about the prophet Elijah, stories about righteous people, and often also dances. This custom, the introduction of which is attributed to King David, is still cultivated today, in particular, by the Hasidic community.

Symcha Keller will introduce the guests to the world of Havdala and the solemn Fourth Feast, full of songs and Hasidic celebration of the end of the Sabbath.
