Inspired by the director's own story, the film tells about a difficult relationship between father and son.
When Franklin breaks off all contact with his father, the desperate older man cannot accept it. He will resort to a ploy to keep up with what is happening in the life of a sensitive, somewhat lonely boy. Unexpectedly, technology comes to his aid. Seeing no other option, Chuck invents a fake social media account to keep an eye on his son. He impersonates an attractive waitress and establishes a connection with the boy.
However, the situation becomes complicated when Franklin, who is infatuated with the girl, wants to meet her at all costs. This is the moment when the older of the heroes begins to realize that having good intentions and wanting only to help, he could actually hurt.
The film by James Morosini, in which he himself plays the role of Franklin, is a story full of empathy about sensitive people in life. The story, presented in the form of a comedy-drama, subtly explores the topic of interpersonal relationships and the need for communication, evoking both smiles and emotion.
