The band was formed in 2016 to promote the city in Poland and abroad, when Lublin first applied for the title of European Capital of Culture. Since then, the Lublin Street Band has performed at prestigious festivals and numerous concerts, winning praise from both audiences and the music community. The band is made up from experienced and creative musicians who have collaborated with many renowned artists.

Their second album, released this year, highlights the band’s unique sound, combining inspiration from classic American soul of the 1970s, energetic jazz, and spy film scores. The new material features songs with beautiful jazz melodies, subtly interwoven by the brass section, and wild improvisations, which are always present during their concerts.
