Cycle: Crime
In the days when Remigiusz Mróz publishes several books a year, crime fiction is extremely popular. Agatha Christie’s classic novels, in which the detective gathers everyone in one place to point out the culprit after a long tirade, have evolved into many subgenres. Cinema also embraced this diversity and we decided to present a different approach to the topic in this series each time. To start with, we propose a neo-noir in the Korean version, i.e. “Suspect” directed by the award-winning Park Chan Wook. Then we will face the investigation of a murder from many years ago in the Australian film “Limbo”. The crime comedy in our set will be represented by “Medusa Deluxe” taking place during the regional hairdressing competition. Finally, we will find out how a classic black crime story can suddenly turn into an auteur cinema in the Romanian “La Gomera”. We cordially invite everyone who wants to find out whether the murderer in the above-mentioned titles is the butler to the CRIMINAL series.
