The title “paradise” is the area of the seaside resorts in Kenya, where middle-aged European women go in search of the so-called “beach boys” – young Africans who fulfill their sexual fantasies for money.
For Teresa (Margarete Tiesel) – an obese, lonely Austrian woman, this is the perfect place to spend her 50th birthday. The woman decides to leave her daughter in the care of her sister and goes on vacation to a Kenyan resort in the hope of experiencing a sexual adventure.
