The first exchange took place on February 18, 1980 in the building of the Lublin Cultural Center on the initiative of Krzysztof Wasilewski – a music journalist of Radio Lublin and the then employee of the Lublin Cultural Center.
Regular meetings of vinyls enthusiasts took place at the turn of the 80’s and 90’s. In 2012, thanks to the efforts of Radio Lublin, the exchange was resumed and took place in the Radio Lublin Concert Hall.
