18th Lublin Film Festival

The 18th edition of one of the largest independent film festivals is coming your way. On November 22nd-30the, the LFF will take place at the Centre for Culture in Lublin.

The theme of this year’s edition is the word. The programe entries reflect the importance of language in film narrative, ways of translating literature into the language of the film, and new ideas for using text to deepen the cinematic experience.
The organizers: We are a group of people who like each other and want to co-create a space that is important to us and others. We look for valuable, original films that move us, intrigue us, and surprise us. We invite creators from different countries to try to understand the complexity of the modern world together. We experiment with forms of film presentation, discussion models, and ways of using cinema for something more than just passive reception. We work with people and organizations that share similar values.

In total, we will present 151 productions from 49 countries, including live-action, documentary, animated, and experimental films. The program includes 29 blocks of short films, including 15 blocks from 7 jury competitions, thematic sets dedicated to the main trends in world cinematography, and a night screening of horror films.
