24th International Dance Theatres Meetings coming up!

24th edition of the International Dance Theatres Meetings will take place between November 7th to 15th. A large group of Polish artists will perform in Lublin, presenting their latest performances online.

The invited guests will include both young artists, at the beginning of their path and with first successes behind them, as well as recognized personalities of Polish dance. The audience will see performances by The Polish Dance Theatre, the Sopot Dance Theatre, Paweł Sakowicz and Karolina Kraczkowska and Ramona Nagabczyńska. Among the young artists are Eliza Kindziuk, Monika Witkowska, Daniel Komęder, Dominika Wiak, Dominik Więcek and Michał Przybyła.

The Centre for Culture had the opportunity to support the creation and production process of some of the Polish artist within Art Space, a new dance support program in our country.

The international artist this year will be featured only on screens, both online and in the festival cinema at the Centre for Culture. This year, a focus is on artists from the Benelux countries, who are widely admired and recognized thanks to the scope of theirdance. The audience will be able to attend an online broadcast of the premiere evening performed by Nederlands Dans Theater 2. The Centre for Culture in Lublin will be the only institutional partner of NDT2 in Poland during the broadcast from The Hague.

In addition, the programme includes workshops on dance techniques and dance criticism, as well as master classes and meetings with selected choreographers and dance teachers.
