The band performs music inspired by the tradition of Balkan brass bands, klezmer sounds, and elements of Polish folklore. Their style is characterized by enormous energy, rhythmicity, and a richness of melody – from dance pieces to lyrical themes.
BUM BUM Orkestar is a Warsaw-based band active since 2014. The band won second prize and the Audience Award at the Polish Radio “New Tradition” festival and represented Poland at the prestigious Trumpet Festival in Guča, Serbia.
The group has performed at numerous musical events, including several festivals in Sopot and the Pol’and’Rock Festival. The musicians perform on any stage and in any conditions – they are not afraid to perform at weddings, funerals, or the most unusual events, because they believe that well-played music will win anywhere.
They collaborate with Kayah, performing material from the album “Kayah i Bregović” in concert, as well as with many other renowned artists of the Polish music scene, such as Kwiat Jabłoni, Czesław Mozil, Golec uOrkiestra, and Enej. They have also appeared in numerous television productions.
One thing is for sure: anyone who hears their music will remember it for a long time.
