The audience will hear such hits of Jewish music as “Beltz”, “Dona, dona”, “Tumbalalajka” or the “Miracles of the Rebbe” or music from the musical “Fiddler on the Roof”.
BERBERYS specializes in traditional klezmer music and sounds from the Balkan. The group performs vocal and instrumental pieces sung in Yiddish, Hebrew, Macedonian, Serbian, English, Spanish and Polish.
The group’s repertoire includes traditional Jewish songs, Polish and Hebrew songs in original interpretation, as well as spontaneous and improvised Balkan melodies and classical pieces.
