The idea of the Sanctuary derives from the definition of play as free activities of children. Adults set up a sanctuary, but children shape it – according to the principles of Pajdokracja. It’s the children themselves who decide what they will be playing and how at the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary’s team will ensure that the kids do not lack anything, and the group of Playworkers will watch over that no one disturbs the play. Children will be able to build their own reality freely while having fun.

The Sanctuary consists of a strict zone (for children aged 7-15) and a buffer zone (children under 7 with carers). The Code of Honour, based on the principles of mutual respect, applies in the strict zone. Children have access to materials and tools from which they build and decorate installations, bases and towers. All objects created are the work of children and the subject of their creative play. In the Sanctuaryyou will not find ready-made, catalogue solutions.

saturday – sunday, 10:00-18:00
